When the lovely people at Root One asked if i’d like to try their gluten free pasta I jumped at the chance! I love pasta! Sometimes only a big bowl of gluten free pasta will satisfy the hunger pangs.
There are numerous plus points to Root One pasta. It’s plant based, gluten free, high in fibre and has twice the amount of protein and 40% less net carbs than regular GF pasta. Adding to that a cooking time of only 6-7 minutes it makes for a perfect and speedy mid week meal.
I was lucky enough to try both their Chickpea Penne Pasta and Chickpea Fusilli and I can honestly say I loved them both. Both held together really well when cooked and tasted just like regular GF pasta but without the “carb come down”!
I doubt it will be long before this hits the shelves in major supermarkets as it’s a great product! In the meantime you can order online here and I would strongly recommend it.
